Knee Pain & Free Siddha Energy Remedies

Knee pain is the pain in or around the knee. About 25% of people over the age of 50 experience knee pain from degenerative knee diseases. Almost 80% of people in India between 18 to 80 years of age suffer from knee diseases. In the United States alone, more than the US $3 billion is spent each year on arthroscopic knee surgeries that are known to be ineffective in people with degenerative knee pain. Keeping such huge expenses into consideration, I would like to introduce the Siddha Spirituality of the Swami Hardas Life System, which is capable of solving these problems without money and medicines. So let us know what is knee pain, knee pain causes, knee pain diagnosis, treatments in Medical science, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Home remedies, and most successful free Siddha energy remedies, without money and medicines.

The knee joint consists of articulation between four bones: the femur, tibia, fibula, and patella. There are four compartments to the knee. These are the medial and lateral tibiofemoral compartments, the patellofemoral compartment and the superior tibiofibular joint. The components of each of these compartments can suffer from repetitive strain, injury or disease.

Knee pain causes

Knee injuries

Running long distance can cause pain to the knee joint, as it is high-impact exercise. Knee pain due to some common injuries include:

  • Sprain (Ligament sprain)
    • Medial collateral ligament
    • Lateral collateral ligament
    • Anterior cruciate ligament
    • Posterior cruciate ligament
  • Tear of meniscus
    • Medial meniscus
    • Lateral meniscus
  • Strain (Muscle strain)
    • Quadriceps muscles
    • Hamstring muscles
    • Popliteal muscle
    • Patellar tendon
    • Hamstring tendon
    • Popliteal tendon
  • Hemarthrosis – Hemarthrosis tends to develop over a relatively short period after injury, from several minutes to a few hours.

Knee pain due to fractures

  • Femoral fracture
  • Tibial fracture
  • Patella fracture

Knee pain due to inflammations

  • Bursitis of the knee
    • Prepatellar bursitis – Housemaid’s knee (most common)
    • Infrapatellar bursitis – Clergyman’s knee
    • Semimembranosus bursitis
  • Tendinitis
    • Patellar tendinitis (Jumper’s knee)
    • Hamstring tendinitis
    • Popliteal tendinitis
  • Synovitis of the knee

Knee pain due to deformities

Common deformities of the knee include:

  • Bipartite patella (two-part kneecap)
  • Genu varum (bow legs)
  • Genu valgum (knock-knees)
  • Genu recurvatum (Knee hyperextension)
  • Knee flexion deformity

Knee pain due to syndromes

  • Patellofemoral pain syndrome
  • Plica syndrome
  • Iliotibial band syndrome
  • Hoffa’s syndrome

Knee pain due to dislocations

  • Patella dislocation
  • Knee joint dislocation

Knee pain due to the cold-induced environment

A Chinese study concluded that knee pain is significantly more prevalent in people working in cold stores than in those at normal temperature.

Cold-induced knee pain may also be due to tenosynovitis of the tendons around the knee, in which cold exposure has a specific role, either as a causative or a contributing factor.

There is also a hereditary disease, familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome (FCAS), which often features knee pain, in addition to hives, fever, and pain in other joints, following general exposure to cold.

Knee pain due to less physical movement

A lower level of physical activity and a work environment where one is required to sit in a chair during the workday is one reason for developing knee joint pain, as the lower degree of physical movement tends to weaken the knee muscles. Blood vessels also can be affected, leading to the development of painful conditions. As age progresses the movement of the knee joint involves higher friction with adjacent tissue and cartilages.

Knee exercises

Some of the following knee exercises can be effective in managing knee pain:

Squat

The squat is performed by squatting down with a weight held across the upper back under the neck and standing up straight again. This is a compound knee pain squat exercise that also involves the glutes (buttocks) and, to a lesser extent, the hamstrings, calves, and the lower back. Lifting belts are sometimes used to help support the lower back. The free-weight squat is one of ‘The Big Three’ powerlifting exercises, along with the deadlift and the bench press.

Leg press

The leg press is performed while seated by pushing a weight away from the body with the feet. It is a compound exercise that also involves the glutes and, to a lesser extent, the hamstrings and the calves. Overloading the machine can result in serious injury if the sled moves uncontrollably towards the trainer.

Leg extension

The leg extension is performed while seated by raising a weight out in front of the body with the feet. It is an isolation exercise for the quadriceps. Overtraining can cause patellar tendinitis. The legs extension serves to also strengthen the muscles around the knees and is an exercise that is preferred by physical therapists.

Knee pain other causes

  • Ligamentous laxity
  • Fat pad impingement
  • Knee effusion
  • Deep vein thrombosis
  • Peripheral vascular disease
  • Exostosis

Referred knee pain

Referred pain is that pain perceived at a site different from its point of origin but innervated by the same spinal segment. Sometimes knee pain may be related to another area from the body. For example, knee pain can come from ankle, foot, hip joints or lumbar spine.

Knee pain diagnosis

Knee MRIs should be avoided for knee pain without symptoms or effusion unless there are non-successful results from a functional rehabilitation program.

In some diagnosis, such as in knee osteoarthritis, Magnetic Resonance Imaging does not prove to be clear for its determination

Knee pain treatment

Although surgery has a role in repairing traumatic injuries and broken bones, surgeries such as arthroscopic lavage do not provide significant or lasting improvements to either pain or function to people with knee pain, and therefore should almost never be performed.

Knee pain is pain caused by wear and tear, such as osteoarthritis or a meniscal tear. Effective knee pain treatments for knee pain include:

  • Physical therapy exercises
  • Pain-reducing drugs such as Ibuprofen
  • Knee replacement surgery
  • Weight loss in people who are overweight

Knee pain treatment – Ayurveda

The problem today has become common among all age groups. Knee pain at any stage of life is painful. Knee pain and joint pain can also be permanently cured with this method indigenous to India. Arthritis and Joint pain are among the most prevalent problems faced by adults, mostly old people. As per Ayurveda, ‘Vata Dosha’ is responsible for knee pain. Here are some common Ayurvedic remedies, which help reduce knee pain:

Ashwagandha: In the West, Ashwagandha is popularly known as Winter Cherry. Also, it has a lot of therapeutic properties, which include reducing joint pains.

Banyan: The Banyan tree’s medical name is Ficus Benghalensis. Latex is derived from the Banyan tree, which has a sap very similar to the form of rubber. The Banyan tree’s sap is externally applied over the joints and the pain usually disappears after a few regular applications.

Garlic: The medical name for garlic is Allium Sativum. Five to six cloves are eaten every day has proved to reduce knee pains.

Knee pain treatment – Homeopathy

Some of the homeopathic remedies that can help to relieve the pain of knee and joints include:

Rhus Tox: Rhus Tox is a common homeopathic remedy used for the treatment of pain in arthritis.

Bryonia: Bryonia is another important drug for the management of pain. It functions opposite to Rhus Tox. In Bryonia pain improves on rest but worsens on movement.

Apis Mellifica: This remedy is useful in patients with swelling on joints.

Berberis vulgaris: This remedy is useful in patients with chronic symptoms of synovitis of the knee.

Pulsatilla Nigricans: This is an effective remedy for arthritis in women.

Knee pain Home Remedies

Exercise and weight management: Daily exercise to keep the joint moving reduce knee pain in some people. For those with arthritis, keeping the leg stationary or reducing the range of motion to avoid pain can stiffen the joint and make matters worse. Being overweight can aggravate the problem as well, so weight management is important.

Heat and cold therapy: Using a heating pad to rest your knee when reclining can help to keep the joint from stiffening up. Wrapping a gel-style cold pack or cool compress around it can reduce pain and swelling. Alternate between cold and heat. Use cold more often during the first 24 hours after the injury.

Herbal ointment: In a study published in the Pakistan Journal of Biological Sciences, researchers investigated a salve made of cinnamon, ginger, mastic, and sesame oil. They found the salve was just as effective as over-the-counter arthritis creams containing salicylate, a topical pain relief treatment.
